Food Crusade update - May

Things are slooooooooooowly starting to take shape. My first crop of peas, lettuce, potatoes, leeks, onions, beans, peppers, carrots, beets, corn (I think that's it) has been planted. The 10 apple trees still have not arrived.

Food Bank Garden 2 - it's a start!

Heavy equipment is tentatively booked for June 2-5. At that time we will be digging the Rainbow Trout pond, the fill from that will be mixed with soil/compost to create a base for the two new gardens and apple orchard. Getting quality soil around here is a major problem, so we are forced to get creative.
